| Potential Honours Projects1. Nitrous oxide emissions from riparian zone. Riparian zones function as nitrate lowering zones, largely through denitrification of nitrate in waters discharging into the riparian zone. Whilst this is good for the quality of receiving waters, the amount of N2O evolved is largely unknown. Contact : Dr Robert Edis, roberte@unimelb.edu.au
2. Projects within the GRDC Project 'Synchronising nutrient supply and crop demand in modern cropping systems' The possibility exists for various honours projects to be run within the GRDC project such as N-fixation estimates, N-transformation rates under different conditions, predicting Autumn N flush and many more.
