Department of Resource Management
The Department of Resource Management, lead by Dr Nigel Stork, is primarily responsible for the delivery of the following programs:
- Bachelor of Resource Management degree at Dookie and Parkville
- Bachelor of Horticulture at Burnley
- Advanced Diploma of Horticulture at Burnley
- Various fee-for-service programs in the relevant discipline areas
The research activites of the Department of Resource Management include ;
- resource management,
- soil and land management,
- social communication and extension,
- applied ecology and
- environmental horticulture.
Projects include include Affordable Aerial Photography, Blue Gum Plantation Management System, Galapagos Islands Eco-Trail, and Lihir Island Group, Papua New Guinea
A long-established feature of our horticultural teaching is the use of the historic gardens at Burnley campus.
