School of Resource Management & Geography
The School of Resource Management & Geography, led by Professor Nigel Stork, is primarily responsible for the delivery in 2008 of the following programs:
- Master of Urban Horticulture
- Bachelor of Arts
- Bachelor of Environments
- Bachelor of Science
- Associate Degree of Environmental Horticulture
- Various fee-for-service programs and short courses
The School will continue teaching to its current students in:
- Bachelor of Natural Resource Management degree at Parkville
- Bachelor of Horticulture at Burnley
The activites of the School of Resource Management & Geography include:
- resource management
- geography
- soil and land management
- social communication and extension
- applied ecology and
- environmental horticulture
Projects include include Affordable Aerial Photography, Blue Gum Plantation Management System, Galapagos Islands Eco-Trail, and Lihir Island Group, Papua New Guinea
A long-established feature of our horticultural teaching is the use of the historic gardens at Burnley campus.
