The University of Melbourne Institute of Land and Food Resources has been established to provide internationally competitive education and research in agriculture and related areas, offering industry and students a mutually beneficial investment opportunity.

We are delighted you have visited our web site to discover the world of opportunity available at the ILFR.

As the largest university faculty supporting the food and natural resource sectors in Australia, the scope for pursuing research and studies at Land and Food is enormous.

The Institute offers industry-relevant training from highest level doctorates and undergraduate degrees, to TAFE studies and short courses at eight campuses in major production areas of South East Australia.

The strong connections to industry, strengthened by an active research and education program, ensure the work of the Institute is relevant, whilst also creating opportunities for students to carry out industry-based research.

The Institute of Melbourne School of Land and Environment benefits industry by welcoming its input into the education of students who will become well equipped for industry employment.
