Language Learning Skills Unit Workshops
The Language & Learning Skills Unit provides support for improving academic and language skills in a range of areas including academic reading and writing, exam preparation strategies, note taking, presentations and critical thinking. It also offers individual tutorials, free language and study skills workshops, and produces a range of very useful study guides and online resources, including the guide to academic enrichment support.
Undergraduate Studies
Bachelor of Agriculture First Year Workshops
The Language & Learning Skills Unit offers specific classes for first year students studying a Bachelor of Agriculture. All tutorials are in the Food and Land Resources building in room G26.

Thesis Writers' Circle
This series is for Ph D students on Mondays, The format will be a weekly discussion group over 8 weeks covering a range of topics related to writing a thesis. Students will have the opportunity to discuss their own work. These are held in the postgraduate meeting room on the 2nd floor of Building 142.
- May: 19 and 26
- June: 2, 16, 23 and 30
- July: 7 and 14.

Individual Tutorials
Both Postgraduate and Postgraduate students are able to book individual tutorials in the Land and Food Resources building on Thursday afternoon. These tutorials are in room 107 between 10am and 12pm on Tuesdays, or 2.30 and 4.30pm on Thursdays. To make an appointment, please call LLSU on 83440930.
