RUA 20198 / RUA 30198 / RUA 40198 Certificates II / III / IV in Agriculture - specialising in cropping and grazing

The program will be based on achieving a set of competencies set out in the Agriculture Training Package as follows:

To achieve the Certificate II qualification, then in addition to the core competencies, the trainee/apprentice has to select enough competencies to gain 30 points. The chemical competencies (RUAAG2005CHA to RUAAGCHA2012CHA) are worth 0.5 points each, and the remaining elective competencies are worth 2 points each.

The participant selects the competencies they wish to do in conjunction with the employer and the course coordinator from Longerenong.

To achieve the Certificate III qualification, then in addition to the core competencies, the trainee/apprentice has to select enough competencies to gain 36 points. The chemical competencies (RUAAG2005CHA to RUAAGCHA2012CHA) are worth 0.5 points each, and the remaining elective competencies are worth 3 points each.

The participant must complete at least 10 level 3 competencies.

The participant selects the competencies they wish to do in conjunction with the employer and the course coordinator from Longerenong.

The participant must complete at least 8 level 4 competencies.
