Master of Agribusiness (Coursework, on campus)

The program offers a full time (1.5 years) on-campus stream of the Master of Agribusiness (Coursework) whereby both local and international students can combine primarily residential and traditional on-campus study at the Parkville Campus, with minimal online study.

Admission Requirements

i. The Selection Committee will evaluate the applicant’s ability to pursue successfully the course using the following criteria:

ii The Selection Committee may conduct interviews and tests and call for referee reports and employer references to elucidate any of the matters referred to above.

Completion of the Graduate Certificate in Agribusiness articulates into the Master of Agribusiness.

Articulation

Students enrolling into the Master of Agribusiness with advanced qualifications in related discipline areas (e.g. honours degrees in business, economics or agricultural science) can apply for credit for some or all of the 4 subjects offered at Graduate Certificate level.

Scholarships

International candidates may be eligible for scholarships. Further information may be obtained from the University of Melbourne ’s scholarship website. Applications should be made through the University’s International Office to ensure any scholarship availability is appropriately considered.

Course Structure and Duration

The Masters program consists of 150 credit points of study of which 100 points are offered at Master’s level.

The course is designed primarily for full-time study over 1.5 years.

The course will commence with a one-week intensive residential program at the beginning of the first and second years. The study schedule consists of subjects delivered in traditional face-to-face and online mode offered by the Melbourne School of Land and Environment and the Faculty of Economics and Commerce
