Alumni
The University of Melbourne takes a keen interest in all of its graduates and has a well established network of 115,000 past graduates, coordinated through the Alumni Relations Unit. University of Melbourne alumni feature prominently in all professions and walks of life. There is no charge for membership.
The Unit provides a range of services for alumni, including cultural events, and professional activities including career seminars and public lectures. In addition, all alumni receive the Melbourne University Magazine, a publication containing news and articles written by and about alumni. An email bulletin, Gradnet, also helps keep alumni informed of activities, events and news from the campus.
The University has also convened alumni chapters in major Australian cities and Asian and Pacific rim countries including: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. Europe, the United States of America and the United Kingdom are also represented.
